I recently bought two sets of frames at the store and have been very pleased with my purchases.

NVision Optix carries an array of great-looking and sophisticated frames, many of them European.

Fun fact: the bridge of my nose is very narrow, and I have a narrow-width face, so I cannot buy mass market frames.

So having access to frames that are exceptionally good-looking, and that fit my narrow face, is key. That’s why I will continue to be an NVision Optix customer.

Also, you should know that the staff there are great to work with. They helped me choose frames that I have gotten so many compliments on! I’m pretty decisive, but it helped to have their expertise to bounce my choices off.

Don’t expect mass market prices— You’re paying to have glasses that nobody else in town will have. And you’re paying a premium for quality and artistic options. I believe you get what you pay for.

On top of all of this, I am now receiving a cutting edge dry eye laser treatment - IPL - which is pain free and feels more like a spa treatment. This new treatment is making a huge difference in what I had always attributed to seasonal allergies. My dry eye symptoms are so much better and easier to manage!

During a recent trip to Reno from the east coast I went to NVision Optix for an eye exam. It was a five star experience due to the professional and friendly staff and state of the art technology. I left my exam wishing Dr. Benitz and his staff would open a branch near my home in the northeast.

This eye clinic offers a high-quality, concierge type practice that focuses on gold standard of eyecare for their patient’s. They have a beautiful office and streamline process to complete your exam. I did not have to sit in any waiting rooms between eye tests or wait for the optometrist due to overbooking. It was nice to be able to talk to my doctor about all the findings and learn about many options for my eye care that were not previously available to me. I would recommend them to anyone looking for an eye care provider

Beyond any eye exam you can imagine. Everything about NVision Optix is exceptional, you won’t find their expertise anywhere else.

I had such a great experience at NVision Optix. Dr. Donahue was kind, patient, and extremely knowledgeable - taking the time to explain everything we were doing and why. The staff was just as friendly and welcoming, which made the whole visit really easy.

Their technology is super advanced—it was incredible to see how much they focus on preventative care. They are able to assess diagnose issues before your typical optometrist could. I have never been to optometrist of this caliber, but now that I have, I don’t see how I could go anywhere else.

And their eyewear selection is seriously impressive, including prescription sunglasses. They have some incredible designer brands I haven’t seen anywhere else in Reno (some I’ve never even heard of), and I love that they offer an exclusivity guarantee so you know won’t see someone else wearing the same frames.

Overall, it was a great experience from start to finish. I’ll definitely be back!

I had been putting off dealing with my failing vision for quite some time, when I fortunately encountered Dr. Benitz and NVision Optix. He was genuinely interested in helping me and promptly got me into his now beautiful new office while it was still under construction.

His examination revealed an issue that required surgery, so he promptly made a phone call and got me an appointment with a very qualified ophthalmologist within just two days. Dr. Benitz helped with my post-surgery follow up examinations, going the extra mile to make sure everything was going as well as possible. My vision is now excellent!

Dr. Benitz is caring and extremely effective. I would highly recommend that anyone with eye issues make an appointment at NVision as soon as possible.

State-of-the-art new optometry practice in Reno with an incredibly cool selection of frames. I received a comprehensive exam that included imaging of my eye, optic nerve, and a new prescription from Dr. Benitz. Then, Pixie and Christopher helped me select some super cool new frames - they are awesome stylists. The frames for computer work are unlike anything I'd seen and weigh nothing. The transitions were from Japan and have prompted lots of compliments. Both frames had Zeiss lenses and the script was perfect. If you want a personalized optometry experience with careful evaluation of your eyes and access to knowledgable staff and the best selection of frames - there is nothing comparable in Reno.

By far the best eye exam I have ever had. Amazing all of the new technology that they have. New frames are very unique. Staff and doctors were very impressive. You may have had eye exams before but nothing like this . Highly recommend them!!!

NVision Optix is a nice clean facility with state of the art equipment! My annual exam is an hour with professional doctors performing numerous tests to ensure the health of my eyes. I went to NVision for my annual eye exam this week and it was the most through exam I've ever had. They have the latest technology and took the time to explain all the results and went over them in great detail. I'll definitely go back again next year.

This place is next level. To start with, the office feels like a Nordstroms - its very nice! And the staff is incredibly attentive, smart, and service oriented.

The office is extremely up to date from a tech perspective, offering imaging, scans, and services I've never seen anywhere else.

I worked with two opticians to pick out my frames, Chris and Pixie, and they were both really good at what they do. They dig deep to understand your needs and lifestyle and take your facial features into account when helping select frames - which resulted in several great options that I was excited about.

Speaking of frames, the brands offered are unique and luxurious, with materials I’ve never seen before in eyewear. One pair I almost chose was made of titanium, and it bends so easily and looks so sharp and modern! I ended up going with a pair from a brand called Matsuda, and they are really special and not like anything ive ever seen before—fancier than what I’d normally wear but perfect for a special trip to Hawaii Im taking over Christmas.

If you want an elevated optometry or eyewear experience, this place is great. I can see it being a destination for the Incline folks as well fashion forward Reno people.
